Investing in Hope, Healing, and a Brighter Future: The Ryan Foundation supports the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital

At The Ryan Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to recover, learn, and thrive after experiencing a life-changing illness or injury. That is why we were proud to contribute $96,000 to Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals in 2025 to support its Pediatric Rehabilitation Program.

This investment is helping ensure that children receiving rehabilitation have access to far more than medical care. It supports educational services that allow students to continue learning while recovering, helping them maintain a sense of normalcy and confidently return to school. During the past year, 128 students participated in the Therapeutic Learning Center, receiving nearly 1,000 educational sessions, with an outstanding 95% returning successfully to school following rehabilitation.

The impact extends beyond the classroom. Our contribution also helps provide adaptive equipment and essential resources that allow children to return home with greater independence. Families have received items such as wheelchairs, walkers, shower aids, communication devices, accessibility ramps, and adaptive car seats—equipment that makes everyday life safer, more accessible, and more hopeful for children facing significant physical challenges. In 2025 alone, these resources helped 46 pediatric patients through 53 individual equipment requests.

Children recovering from neurological injuries, spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, cancer, and other complex medical conditions often face obstacles that extend well beyond their hospital stay. By supporting innovative rehabilitation programs and providing critical adaptive resources, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospitals helps children regain confidence, reconnect with their education, and return to their communities ready to reach their full potential.
