The Ryan Foundation donated $3M to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart

The Ryan Foundation donated $3 million to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Omaha, Nebraska, reflecting the continued commitment to Catholic education and creating meaningful opportunities for future generations.

Founded in 1881, Duchesne Academy is an independent, Catholic, college-preparatory high school dedicated to educating young women in grades 9 through 12. Rooted in the traditions of the Society of the Sacred Heart, the school emphasizes academic excellence, personal growth, faith, and service, preparing students to become compassionate and confident leaders.

Duchesne Academy's commitment to educational excellence is reflected in its 100% graduation and college acceptance rate for the Class of 2026, with every graduate accepted to a four-year college or university. With a 9:1 student-teacher ratio and more than 50 student clubs and activities, the school provides individualized attention and opportunities for students to discover their strengths, develop leadership skills, and pursue their passions.

Beyond academics, Duchesne Academy is dedicated to making its educational experience accessible to families from diverse financial backgrounds. Through its Family Individualized Tuition program, the school works to reduce financial barriers and provide more young women with the opportunity to benefit from a Sacred Heart education.

TheRyan Foundation's contribution reflects a shared belief in the transformative power of education and the importance of developing young women who lead with integrity, compassion, and a commitment to serving others.
