The Ryan Foundation donated $500K to Christ Child Society of Omaha
In August 2026, The Ryan Foundation donated $500,000 to Christ Child Society of Omaha, continuing its commitment to strengthening families and providing essential resources to children throughout the Omaha community.
Founded in 1906, the Christ Child Society of Omaha celebrates its 120th anniversary in 2026, marking more than a century of service rooted in faith, compassion, and generosity. What began as a volunteer initiative providing clothing and necessities for newborns has evolved into an organization dedicated to helping children and families overcome challenges and build brighter futures.
Today, the organization focuses on four essential initiatives: providing newborn layettes filled with clothing and supplies, offering educational scholarships for parents, distributing car seats to promote child safety, and encouraging early literacy through access to books. With more than 140 dedicated volunteers across five auxiliaries, the Christ Child Society continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of Omaha families.
The Ryan Foundation's support also reflects a special connection to the organization through the Eileen Ryan Christ Child Center, which opened in Rockbrook Village in 2022. Named in honor of Eileen Ryan, the center serves as a home for the organization's outreach efforts and represents a shared dedication to serving families with dignity and compassion.

As the Christ Child Society of Omaha celebrates 120 years of service, The Ryan Foundation is honored to support its continued mission of providing hope, opportunity, and essential assistance to children and families for generations to come.
