The Ryan Foundation: Investing in Neighbors Through Townsend Ecumenical Outreach
In January 2026, The Ryan Foundation was honored to contribute $250,000 to Townsend Ecumenical Outreach (TEO), supporting its mission of providing food, clothing, and essential assistance to individuals and families facing hardship throughout north central Massachusetts.
Since 1994, Townsend Ecumenical Outreach has been a trusted source of hope for neighbors in need. As a completely volunteer-run organization, TEO provides a welcoming, farmers market-style food pantry, a clothing closet for individuals of all ages, and seasonal programs that help families prepare for the school year and celebrate the holidays with dignity. Every month, the organization serves more than 800 community members, ensuring that those experiencing difficult circumstances have access to basic necessities and compassionate support.
The Ryan Foundation believes that meeting immediate needs is an important step toward creating stronger, healthier communities.
