The Ryan Foundation continues support for Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart

In June 2025, The Ryan Foundation donated $299,145 to Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, supporting the Academy's commitment to providing an exceptional educational experience for young women while ensuring that financial need is never a barrier to opportunity.

For more than a century, Duchesne Academy has empowered students through a values-based education that encourages academic excellence, leadership, service, and personal growth. Students are challenged to think critically, lead with confidence, and develop a strong sense of responsibility to those around them.

The Ryan Foundation's contribution helped provide need-based financial assistance to 26 graduating seniors in the Class of 2026, enabling talented young women to continue their education in an environment that nurtures academic, spiritual, and personal growth. The Academy reported that the Class of 2026 flourished academically, creatively, and personally, demonstrating the lasting impact of sustained investment in student success.

The results speak for themselves. All 70 members of the Class of 2026 received acceptance to at least one college or university. Together, they earned 389 scholarships totaling more than $28.5 million, including 21 full-tuition scholarships to prestigious institutions across the country. Beyond the classroom, students distinguished themselves as collegiate athletes, nationally ranked Mock Trial competitors, award-winning researchers, and artists, reflecting the well-rounded education that defines the Duchesne experience.

The Ryan Foundation believes that investing in education is one of the most meaningful ways to strengthen communities. By supporting schools like Duchesne Academy, we are helping ensure that students have access to an environment where they can grow academically, spiritually, and personally while preparing to make a lasting impact in the world.
